8/10/2007: West Hollywood, CA: Casque D’Or Films acquired the rights of the 2006 San Francisco International Film Festival hit, LILI & THE BAOBAB by Chantal Richard (2006, France) with Romane Bohringer (MINA TANNENBAUM, SAVAGE NIGHTS). Set in Senegal and in the north of France, this film tells a beautiful story of friendship and solidarity between two women of different cultures and background. Based on a true story, this film will be released on DVD in 2008 along with a documentary about the making of this film along with interviews of the director, the main actress along with the inhabitants of the village, and the producer.

8/1/2007: West Hollywood, CA: After opening at Out Connecticut in May, the moving French transgender family drama, ANOTHER WOMAN by Jerome Foulon (2002, France), continues its successful festival run (San Francisco, Outfest, North Carolina, Desert Film Society, Palm Springs, Fresno, Sacramento, Rochester, NY, Austin, Tampa, etc). 7/12/2007: West Hollywood, CA: Casque D’Or Films is proud to be distributing the debut documentary MIRACLE by Brazilian born Clarissa Gonzalez (2006, Spain) about the new marriage law in Spain. With appearances by Pedro Almodovar and other famous European LGBT representatives, this documentary enlightens us and gives us hope about what could one day become a reality in the United States.

6/28/2007: West Hollywood, CA: Casque D”Or Films is delighted to be distributing one the most endearing lesbian shorts on the festival circuit this year entitled A MOMENT LIKE THIS (ESSE MOMENTO, 2006, Brazil) by Vitor Leite with upcoming young stars, Sophia Reis and Luisa Carvalho.

6/24/2007: West Hollywood, CA: Casque D’Or Films recently acquired the rights of one of the sexiest lesbian shorts ever produced, ENTREVUE by Marie-Pierre Huster (2006, France). Beautiful Mathilda May (BECOMING COLETTE) and seductive Nathalie Mann (ANOTHER WOMAN) turns a story about a job interview into an encounter sizzling with mystery and desire. This short will be released on DVD as a bonus feature for the anticipated French transgender family drama, ANOTHER WOMAN.

9/25/2007: West Hollywood, CA: ANOTHER WOMAN has won BEST FEATURE/AUDIENCE AWARD at the Fresno LGBT Film Festival.
